Pergola

Our new oak pergola was delivered today. It comes as a made-to-measure kit and is very substantial. Assisting with the unloading and moving it from kerbside down our steep drive into the garage was very heavy work, only manageable with the assistance of neighbour Phil and one of the young farmers with the two longest lengths. I am a bit worried about how our joiners - Sean and Ryan - are going to manage the construction, but they know what they are doing.
It stayed dry throughout the day, despite threatening rain at times. A day of catching up on inside chores and a trip to the post office to post the UPP folio to Adrian.
