Arnside

On our way home from the Lake District, we explored some of the coastline along Morecambe Bay. The Rivers Leven and Kent flow into the northern end of the bay. We stopped for a walk along the vast and deserted sands at Arnside. Perhaps it was the imminent rain that was deterring walkers. This shot is of the railway viaduct that crosses the river Kent where it enters the bay at Arnside.
Today's extra is of a black headed gull admiring its reflection in the water.
