Potentilla

This bright red small potentilla flower is situated in our front garden and given that its very windy at the moment I decided to take it indoors for a quick blip.  

Otherwise I haven't been outside today.  I was busy getting some photos ready for a short presentation at our nature group photography meeting tonight.  That was interspersed with getting the house and food sorted for the arrival of our daughter and family who are visiting tomorrow.  A camera club outing tomorrow so it all needed to be done today.  It was all hands on deck today.
