Glass making

We both went to a camera club outing today at Cockington Court.  We hadn't visited before and the sat nav took us on a very small lane for some distance to arrive in the centre of the delightful small village.  In retrospect it was a good approach as we didn't see all the housing around the other sides and so it made more of an impact.  At the centre is a Manor House with its cricket ground, a church, a forge with some of the  and a large number of artIts an  is full of thatched cottages some of which date back to the 16th century.  There are also a number of art and craft shops and studios and I stopped to watch while an impressive piece of glassware was made.

It was lovely to meet up with some of the camera club, we all did our own thing but met together for lunch.  A day of mixed weather and we hurried back home as our daughter and family are arriving today.  I think they are here now so a quick blip for today.
