Re-homing

Today I moved 19 tiny caterpillars to their new big milkweed condos. I hope they all do well and flourish. I saw one monarch butterfly flitting around the milkweed patch and came across a couple large caterpillars. The one in the main photo was looking like it was about ready to shed it's skin. Their antennae get really droopy and they kind of jump around a bit. I didn't stay to watch and by the time I checked on it again it had disappeared.
The two extra photos show me holding one. I had to wear my readers to find them and then sacrificed a bit of the butterfly weed to tease them out. The other shows one placed safely on a big milkweed leaf. I do love these creatures.
