If you go down to the woods today……

W and I had a lovely walk this morning at Felbrigg Hall, with Bom and GracieG.  A few miles around the grounds followed by a picnic joined by Gracie’s husband M.  Despite the forecast the weather held up for us and we only had a few spots of rain.  The first part of the walk was through woodland which was looking beautiful, and I rather liked this tree; I wonder how old it is?

I was torn between two shots for my blip but then I saw that the other one was remarkably similar to the one Bom used for her blip today, so I’ve added it as an extra instead.
