Red Admiral

The first Red Admiral I've seen this year, and a worn-out specimen at that.  Its wings are frayed and it's lost one antenna.  Nevertheless it was enjoying the lavender this afternoon.

The extra is from yesterday.  The sign at Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station said that the station would be quieter after 17.30.  But at 20.00 it was still very busy.  It's 7 weeks since I first went back on a tube train, when it was very quiet, but not now!
