Garsington Opera at Wormsley

We were at Garsington yesterday for a little performed opera, Rossini's Le Comte Ory, best described as a medieval romp with lots of cross-dressing.  One scene has a dozen hairy knights, thinly disguised as nuns in order to gain entrance to the ladies' chamber, discovering instead the Lord's wine cellar - you get the idea!

I thought you might prefer instead to see the immaculate Wormsley Cricket Club pitch.  If you were a member of Wormsley Cricket, on Sunday 1st August, you could attend the President's Day where the Sir Paul Getty XI will play the MCC.

If croquet is more your scene, see extra.
