Working Again

Another trip to the studio this morning just to arrange backdrops ready for a session next week then back to The Mate's to do some ICC profiles for our range of papers with the new X-rite i1 Studio we bought.

It's always worth buying good photopaper. PermaJet will send you the profile to install on your computer free of charge on paper you buy from them. You print off these swatches to post to them, and tell them which printer you used. One for each paper type you use. We now have the technology to do this ourselves. Having said that, they do have downloadable profiles on their website which should give good results.

We began, in the early days, using cheaper paper from a firm who couldn't offer this, Bad choice! The paper was not up to our expectations.
