View from the Parterre

I was late "getting going" but on the very weak excuse of needing petrol for the car took a spur of the moment trip out to Hinton Ampner on the edge of the South Downs.

With today's Wide Wednesday Challenge of "Shadows", I was on the lookout for shadows of clouds crossing the fields, which I kept missing!  This view towards the downs was one of the better efforts!  I did a bit better with insects on flowers (extra).
