It's a Journey....

Fairy Gardens

This little guy seems to be relaxing after picking a bucket of apples.

We were at the U of MN Landscape Aboretum today. They had an indoor farmers market going on as well as a fantastic display of Fairy Gardens. The place was packed.

The little girls were just loving this! I had a nice conversation with a little girl and her grandmother about a fairy garden that they are growing. I learned that fairies need to live under the leaves so they can hide, because they don't like to be seen. But also because they cannot get wet. If their wings get wet they cannot fly, and that would be bad.
