Peacock

My class wrote about their favourite part of yesterday’s trip. E wrote ‘ I like the peacock. I like the feather’.
Alfie has been preparing for his big day out tomorrow. He and his friend are driving to Goodwood Festival of Speed and it’s the furthest he will have driven without one of us. He’s planning to leave at 4am so has been trying to alter his body clock all week by getting up early and going to bed at a reasonable time. He’s had a haircut, washed his car, filled it with petrol, checked his oil, water and tyre pressure and been to Sainsbury’s for food supplies. Obviously D and I will be nervous wrecks until he gets back safely.
