Megan's Makkin

A fine day, but mostly cloudy, some sunny spells.  Mist has threatened this evening, but thankfully not succeeded. 

I've had a busy day working in the airport.  I was on the check-in desk in the morning, heli end (helicopter check-ins) in the afternoon and evening, back to check-in and also boarding the last flights.  When the mist came down, we did worry, thankfully the last flights weren't affected.  A late finish, and then had Laura, Shaun and Megan around for a cuppa.  Walkies and then feet up for the night. 

Megan has always been a keen knitter, but mam has recently been teaching some Fair Isle knitting.  She took her makkin (knitting) along this evening, and kept busy.  She's been busy making a Fair Isle headband.  I can't wait to see the finished product.  Megan busy makkin, with sis Laura looking on.  Taken at home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
