Wonderful day. Kicked off with coffee on the porch , had to get as much time in on that sofa as poss! Joined by more vaccinated friends , Ben and Claire that I haven’t seen in nearly 2 years, then Caz and then Claire C , then Caola, who has suddenly grown up and become an equine physio teaching in Writtle at Essex university. We couldn’t stop talking and had to be dragged away from each other !
A meat fest breakfast delight was rustled up by Tom and enjoyed, eat more meat in one sitting than in a week at home ! Tours of campers and horses before heading over to The Sheepshead for a Birthday swim with Lisa and Roger at Summers Cove. Yola and I were put off by the jelly fish but the others braved it.
Back to Lisa’s for mountains of more delicious food. The Otolengi orange and almond cake drizzled with choc was a masterclass in cake by Rach. All the Holden’s and Waldron’s together for mikes birthday dinner . The adults were more noisy than the kids !
Late night sunset walk up the hill with Lisa and Rog, Bella and Bonnie came with us. Feel totally blessed and alive ….. and stuffed .
