Lakeland Sunset

I set off on what will be my longest drive in a couple of years as I head down south. I left Aberdeen in quite a heavy mist which lasted as far as Perth. From there the weather cleared up.

Not being used to long drives I had decided to break the journey in the Lake District which is pretty much the half way point on the journey.

A nice dinner in the hotel. I booked early an early time, but it seemed many others had done the same so there were quite a few in the dining room. In my room later I noticed we had a nice sunset. Seemed like too good an opportunity to miss so I took several shots from the window as the sun was setting.
