Day 474 Peace

Today I managed to get into the garden (up those patio steps ) and take some pictures of the flowers currently blooming.  I've chosen the Peace rose as my entry for Flower Friday but couldn't resist a collage in extras in which several more flowers and insects too feature.
This evening we went out for dinner with our friends A and B.  Today is A's birthday and it was lovely to meet and catch up with her on her special day.  Currently they live in the Cotswolds but have made the decision to move back to this area to be nearer friends and family.  Next week they may have a completion date  for their move.
In other news:   fully vaccinated UK residents will not hav to quarantine after returning from amber travel list countries from 19 July but will still have to pay privately for Covid tests before and after their return.  Obviously those countries have their own entry rules..  The fully vaccinated will not have to self isolate after contact with a positive case, in England, from 16 August.
