A few spots

Sunday 11th July 2021                     (backblip)

We had a lovely walk this afternoon ........ just a shame it was cloudy for most of it ... but at least it was dry!

There was so much life about ..... a real treat to see :-)

It was great to finally see several butterflies about .... we saw Meadow Brown (blipped) .... Small Tortoiseshell ...... Red Admiral ...... Ringlet .... Whites & a Small Skipper who refused to land!

We found lots of life on a large patch of nettles ...... there were ladybird larvae ...... two different species of Ladybird 7 Spot & 14 Spot (all blipped) .... there was also a 2 Spot (not blipped)  & caterpillars of the Peacock butterfly (blipped). We also found this pretty little fly/hoverfly/beetle on the bramble flower!

Hope you like my choices :-)

Stay safe everyone :-)

Hope to have time to catch up today (Monday) ..... please bear with me if I don't manage it!
