Hospital Day 1

Given I was no better phoned the GP again and after a telephone call arranged to go up at 11am.

He took my stats and then said "I'm putting you on oxygen and arranging an ambulance* to take you straight to hospital, I think you've got pneumonia."

At which point I cried.

Everyone couldn't have been nicer or more lovely to me during a very surreal experience.

Got to Gloucester about 1.30pm, had another COVID test (also negative), saw a doc, had a chest xray, got given IV antibiotics and then waited. 

And waited some more.

And tried to sleep amongst the chaos that is A&E.
