Busy Bee.

The big adventure today was taking Chloe for a trim. We had over an hour to kill and didn’t want to go into the local shops so took a wander around the streets and admired the gardens. We found a lovely little open garden next to the local parish church and this is where I spotted this lucky bee. Looks as if it is digging for gold in there!
Continuing the flower theme, today’s extra is one of our (few) poppies. It seems to be an odd washed out looking colour, especially as its neighbour is the classic deep crimson.
A really hot day (up to 24C) and sunny. Too hot for walking a little dog until it cools down a little!
