More Monet

The grandsons wanted to see the Monet Exhibition at SAM too.  See blip last wed. .  They have been to Normandy and Giverny  but not Etretat so they were really interested.   They’re great museum goers and very observant.  (their parents have done a good job!)   Had to put a picture of  one of those cliffs as last night we watched some of Lupin on Netflix and there was this rock!  (which I would not have known except for this Monet show.!! very fun. )

Put the extra collage in with the cutout room, and some American landscape they wanted to see, the Seattle Monet and the empty museum.  We also went to the shop and Nik bought postcards for his Mom and a deck of Monet cards to play poker with.  ( I got a magnet..it’s been so long since I’ve been anywhere to add to  my fridge collection).  Then home for milkshakes and cornbread and Nik wanted to paint so kind of copied one of his Monet cards with watercolor pencils..he’s very focused.   Apparently he and his girlfriend who is an artist have been going places to paint in the car this last year when nothing was open to do.

All I can say it’s a JOY to spend time with these kids…makes our day!!   These two don’t have jobs…they are waiting to go with Grampa to have a work party on the island the instant we get to go .   So I think we’ll get some more museum days with all the grands….
