Beak to Beak

The pufflings at Sumburgh Head are getting bigger by the day (see the extra) - and very soon they'll be leaving the burrow (or hole in the rock) where they've spent the last six or seven weeks (their entire life).  They'll probably spend the next couple of years at sea before (all being well) returning here to look for their own burrow.

I photographed the same burrow last year - almost certainly the same adult pair.
