Grenadier's House

A quick watercolour from my sketch a couple of days ago. .. I like it at this stage of incompleteness so I thought I would share it .. rather an arty week one way and another. Must get on with other things tomorrow!
Asked a neighbour over for a coffee this morning but didn't remember the lawn treatment team were due to come.. typically they came half an hour before she was due to turn up... I thought the smell of weedkiller would be unpleasant but luckily it seemed fine.  A good natter under grey clouds (what's new?) but it was at least warm.  Sun came out later and supper was had in the garden again.. lovely.
Blackcurrant picking in the morning.. in long sleeves and trousers as the biters live nearby!
