Pink Borage

A few years ago, I planted borage in the herb patch in our garden. Ever since, I try my best to keep it confined to its corner - it's self-seeding, and tends to take over the herb patch, the raised bed, the flower bed, and the lawn.

We don't really use it for cooking or for salads, but are happy to keep a few plants every year, mostly for the bees.

I like the fact that its flowers are pink when they open at first, and only turn blue later.
