California Tree Poppy

I do like a warm temperatures but when it gets too hot like it has been this week my energy levels drop like a stone in water.

Some very essential food shopping today followed by a visit to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews. The gardens were busier than I have seen them for a while …… a new outdoor cafe provided us with a welcome cuppa to accompany our M&S sandwiches.

It was much too hot to even think about visiting the glass houses …… we had to be content with what we could find in the outdoor areas.
