A Day Worth Recording

The PEB Revision

We have a new history, and the house is suddenly 15 years younger than it was.

A visitor to one of our open garden sessions happens to work at the Malvern museum.  She picked up our history booklet and took on the challenge to find out more about the house, especially its origins.

She returned today with some more results of her research.

It turns out that the house does not pre-date the adjacent church as we'd been told, but they were built as a pair commissioned by one Rev. Peter Boissier living, at the time, just down the road.

Also, only '2 or 3' acres of land were bought to build it on.

OK, so that leaves us with more questions than answers!
