I am not a number, I am a free cat. Er, no, I am a Prisoner!

We are on a CCP "Camping de Mon Village" site in Châtillon-sur-Indre. It has 50 pitches and just two of them were occupied last night. It was very peaceful, though hot - we hit 29 degrees yesterday. Happily we have a pitch with tall hedges and shading trees. There is a fabulously cooling breeze here that is making the heat bearable.

It's ideal for Dusty here and he does seem to be having a great time. He doesn't actually mind his tether, he just likes being outside. Yesterday he spent much time stalking lizards. At dusk we took him for a walk around the all but empty site and out to the river. Nell wasn't doing well yesterday and she forgot she was with us, turned around, left the field and wandered off into the middle of the road. Elderly confused. It's hard to bear.
