Freedom Day

Back to work(ing from home) after a couple of weeks off and it’s also Harriet’s first day at work in Derby as a foundation year doctor.

Hoping to beat the heat, I went out for a run over the moor at 7:30 am. It was very quiet. The only people I encountered were two dog walkers over the whole 7.5 km.

It was a very slow run due to the heat and the overgrown vegetation which turned the paths into an obstacle course.

A short 3 km walk at 9:00 pm

I dread to think what freedom day will bring.
