Wound up in Wexford

Blewbury

We've come down to Oxfordshire for a short break.  We've certainly picked a week of hot weather.

After a long day yesterday - we had to be at Wild Ken Hill by 9.00, so were packed and out of the house by 7.40, we decided on a lazy day.  We sat and read, and when it eventually cooled down a little in the late afternoon, we walked around Blewbury.

Our accommodation is a one bedroom terrace house on a typical "pack them in tight" modern estate, but we discovered much older and more interesting bits of the village, including lots of little paths and streams, Olde Worlde cottages, walls with thatched rooves (see extra), and a rather nice pub where we indulged in a pint.
