Back to garden shots today. My plan was to get in closer to the goat's beard seeds heads amongst the Veronica BUT there was a bit of a breeze, they've been dancing around &, having looked for a second time, the seeds are rapidly dispersing - which is what they're supposed to do, of course.

Another prowl around the garden looking for likely candidates uncovered this rose in a fairly shaded/sheltered spot. I thought it had finished for the season, but there are still a couple of new buds. As I like the shapes that the sepals make as they spiral around the unfolding petals I couldn't pass it by!
