SEE, HEAR, FEEL

Today’s CALM APP meditation recommended taking time to leave behind
all our worries & focus solely on what we SEE, HEAR & FEEL, for a brief time. It is a way to give our racing mind a way to disconnect & take a break from concerns.

We can do it while meditating, sitting, walking or any activity. Notice every sensation & silently label it SEEING,
HEARING OR FEELING. Just watch & listen & feel sensations for however long is practical.

I tried this after the meditation, while sitting on my patio. I noticed this bird bath in the sun, & heard a variety of birds. Angus came to sit by me & I felt his fur in a new way.

It was a good way to start a Monday morning, the beginning of a demanding week….
