PRAYING MANTIS

I saw this PRAYING MANTIS when watering
my tall Sunflowers. It was at eye level,
where it watched me taking this photo, not the least bit nervous. It is not a pollinator,
but is beneficial in the flower beds.
I hope it makes lunch of any aphids, white flies or spider mites in the vicinity.

Busy day today, getting ready for
guys who will come tomorrow to
spread the stone where the grass once was.
I need to spread mulch & place cobble stones to outline the flower beds. I will have help- -my best friend & her husband are coming once it cools down.

I see the light at the end of the tunnel-with
the garden renovations.
