Cast off

A postponed Y11 prom went off without a hitch and everyone had left by ten past midnight. A quick journey home and my shoes were finally cast off by 12:40. The evening passed quite quickly but I think the alarm in the morning will be far from welcome. Sports Day tomorrow too so there may be an update of text but the first pair of heels I have worn probably since pre-Covid are a fitting post-prom blip.
