Day 485 Ten tiny toes

Today was just as hot and humid as yesterday and once again I didn't venture into the garden until mid afternoon when I had a visit from Violet, her mummy and her new baby sister.  It was hard to decide whether it was cooler in the shaded living room or under the trees in the garden.  Violet resolved her overheating problems by accidently 'falling' in the paddling pool with her school dress still on.  The Son brought out the special bubble mix that we made a few days ago and showed Violet how to scoop up the thick mixture and blow bubbles through her hands.  I didn't photograph any of the astonishingly large bubbles but Abstract Thursday will probably give me a good opportunity to try something.
My entry for TT is the  tiny toes that belong to Stella-Rose, who spent the afternoon sleeping and feeding.  Many thanks to Osuzanna for hosting.
In other news: the supposed rights and wrongs of the so called Freedom Day continue to be hotly debated.  Currently people are most exercised by the issues with the test and trace app, which has 'pinged' so many people that some businesses can hardly operate. As it is not mandatory to have this app (that would be impossible) if it tells  you to self isolate its instruction  is technically advisory, whereas if you get a call from NHS Test & Trace telling you to self isolate, that is still a legal requirement.  Meanwhile, this evening we have That Interview with Dominic Cummings being grilled by  Laura Kuenssburg!
