Hydrangea

Fifth day of stifling heat. I’m back at work tomorrow so couldn’t put off the ironing and a bit of housework any longer.
It’s been too hot for crafting, my fingers feel so big and clumsy so all I can do is some preparation for when the weather is cooler. I have discovered acrylic paint pens this week and I’m loving trying them out on different materials.
The hydrangea in front of the house looks very colourful this year, last year it didn’t flower at all. I think I’m right in thinking the colour of the flowers reflects the acidity of the soil?
