Fan Zone

As there will be no spectators at the Olympics in Tokyo and no family to support the athletes, the New Zealand Olympic Committee has decided to operate a Fan Zone in Auckland, based at The Cloud on Queen’s Wharf. Family and friends will be able to visit the Fan Zone to watch events on the big screen and share in the excitement.  Hundreds of school children will also visit and members of the public will be able to enter and watch the events.  There are a number of “activations” to keep everyone entertained.  Hubby and I have volunteered for the event and attended a training/briefing session tonight at The Cloud.  Our first shift starts on Saturday at 4.30pm. The blip shows the entrance to the Fan Zone at The Cloud.
