A Work in Progress

One of my photo groups has the topic "Points" for a future meeting so I've been compiling a list of ideas, not all of them involving things in my garden. A couple of nights ago I experimented with the teasels as the sun went down - hand held, high ISO, but interesting backlighting & pretty coloured bokeh. Tonight I thought I'd have another go, use the tripod, get it sharper, etc, etc. It's certainly sharper, but the angle & depth of field isn't quite right, and, worst of all, the light just wasn't the same, as might have been predicted. Maybe another evening - if the stems haven't grown higher than the hedge in the background, as most of the other plants tower well above my head!
