Abbey Mill

Walked past this building every day we were in Tewksbury and thought it was wonderful. It was originally a flour mill, and has been a restaurant and cafe and then converted to apartment.
There is storage on the ground floor and when Tewksbury floods it can be under water.
We walked across the meadow and through the park, along the river and tried another coffee shop.
Left the site at 11:30 and home in two hours.
It was far too hot to walk the dogs so my daughter brought her dog round to ours and we sat and had coffee and cake in the garden and the dogs played in the shade of the trees.
Hubby cooked and I took Hetty for a walk after dinner when it had cooled a little.
Lovely break and will definitely go back to Tewksbury.
