Setting up camp

This morning it was a bit cooler wih a breeze so much more comfortable for bowling in the park.  Afterwards F and I did our food shopping before I returned home.

This weekend there will be a living history re-enactment of the American Civil War at the castle.  I won't be going as I've been to quite a few of these but thought that I might be able to get a blip.

The re-enactors were just arriving and setting up camp.  I was interested to see how they transport the cannons, they were all fastened together on a trailer and padded fabric protection for the end of the barrel.  It would be a novel sight to see them travelling along the road!
