My turn for an appointment with the GP this morning. Then home to doze in front of the opening ceremony of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Thankfully the weather has been a bit cooler today, hazy sunshine, 26 degrees, with a lovely breeze. But now we have a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms from 8pm this evening, right through to midnight Sunday. From one extreme to the other!

PS Sid visited on and off throughout the afternoon, he was obviously hungry. Has he run away from home again? Gave him a little fuss, then ignored him. Felt so mean. Hoping that with time he’ll get bored of hanging around and being ignored, and realise he’s better off at home. Well, that’s the current plan...
