Wanderings & Witterings

Kick-off!

Back Blip - time to catch up on these random gaps in my journal!

A Ramblers walk in Kilsyth and Colzium in the morning, but the highlight of the day came later when I was able to go and watch Falkirk play their first match with spectators present in 493 days. I attended their last game in front of fans on 7th March 2020 - a 3-0 win over Peterhead - so it was great to be one of the 1000 people allowed into the Falkirk Stadium to watch their League Cup tie with Albion Rovers.

The Bairns won 5-1, but although the performance and scoreline were very good, the only thing that really mattered was being there again. Another piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is my life was back in place.
