Two Meadow Browns

When we were farmers we were obliged to pull up the Ragwort as it is poisonous to horses, cattle and sheep.  It's what DEFRA calls a "harmful weed".  Now we are not farmers we can have harmful weeds growing on our land providing we stop them spreading to agricultural land.  So we keep them under control, but we have a patch in one of our wild grass areas, and the bugs absolutely love them!  I was spoiled for choice for butterflies, beetles, flies, bees, etc. on Ragwort to blip today.  Oh and of course, the Cinnabar Moth caterpillar, a yellow and black stripy jobby.  Perhaps I'll post one of those tomorrow :-)
