Beach walk

More like a stumble really as it was high tide and only large, irregular pebbles(?)/boulders (?) to walk on. But good to get down here as we've not been for at least 2 years. Poppydog used to like this beach and I liked fossicking for pretty shells. The bright green seaweed was quite a sight on this fairly dull day.

We gave ourselves time out from gardening and house cleaning (done in fits and starts this week) and also fitted in lunch at the Fossil Museum. Homemade mushroom soup which was very good. Berry behaved very well (we ate outside) for 95% of the time. Unfortunately, we didn't realise there were chickens hiding in a bush 15ft away (heard the chooking but assumed it was over the wall) and, of course, all hell broke loose when one strolled across the grass. Berry didn't get it (quite).
