Goldfinch Mouthful

The goldfinch seed eating competition at the AOGs got off to a flying start with many contenders guzzling thistle seeds at a pace. The competition was strong but no match in any way for the rapid, high-speed click and collect strategy adopted by Gertie here who totally stripped his thistle in record time. I have to say I think he is now in a very strong position for the next round!

Dad still in hospital so I've spent the day with mum taking a little time off to hit the local canal locks see Extra in Dewsbury after the local M&S. Chocolate eclairs tonight!
