JERUSALEM SAGE: PHLOMIS fruticosa

While walking Angus this evening, I saw the very last flower on this shrub.  It was exquisite when it was covered in flowers, but this lonely flower is lovely, too.  

These evening walks were meant to help my sleep problems.   As time 
has passed I have joined a group of  women who also walk their dogs.  Angus has enjoyed the company of the other dogs,
& I have enjoyed the camaraderie.  The walks have lengthened, so by the time we get home it is almost dark, we are both tired & ready for bed.  I am sleeping much better, & usually wake rested.   

I am yawning as I write this....
