A Different Nectar

This Anna Hummingbird was tasting the Rose of Sharon Nectar today; I have never seen the hummingbirds feasting at this plant before.  Usually the hummingbirds go for the small tubular flowers.

We went out to dinner at Red Robin tonight; we had a nice dinner outside on the patio by a nice cool water feature. Now we are watching the Olympics; there are quite a few different events, we have seen beach volleyball, water polo, 3 on 3 basketball, swimming, gymnastics, skateboarding and bicycling. The coverage on TV seems so well edited for greatest interest. I enjoyed watching; the athletes are so impressive with their strength and talent. I have noticed good sportsmanship from all the players; wonderful to see!
