What a sweetie

Early walk before breakfast and a read. Hubby suggested we had a drive out to a small town which has a castle for a coffee and an opportunity for some photos. Sunday is always quiet as not many places open, not today. We arrived at the back of slow moving traffic and when we finally reached the centre realised it was not a good idea as it was packed and the reason for slow traffic was miniature steam traction engines. We didn’t stop.
Daughter in London for the weekend and due back today but she said the rain was so heaving that she felt nervous driving so would wait until it stopped. She was concerned that I had picked up her dog this afternoon and would have to keep her overnight if she didn’t drive home. I said we would be fine and she should stay safe and come back in the morning, so she is.
Two nights in boarding she was so tired and Ruby has slept all evening on my legs.
