Back to the 60s

In 1975 I was involved with the scouts, running a cub pack and we did lots of charity stuff. We did a charity auction and one of the other leaders contacted Harald Wilson to ask for a contribution, he very kindly sent a signed copy of his book and a signed photo. My then fiancé, now husband, thought it was fantastic as he was studying politics at Leeds University at the time but thought it would be too expensive at the auction. No one else was interested and he got it for a reasonable bid.
We took both dogs for a walk quite early this morning and then a run. Daughter got back from London and we met up for walk and coffee this afternoon.
