Are You Going To Freundenberg Fair?

The song would fall down on the herbs though - Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme translate as "Petersilie, Salbei, Rosmarin & Thymian".

The title on the banner translates as "Freundenberg stays careful/cautious".  The banner might, but the people don't.

It was a Tuesday.  Lots of E-Mails full of outrage at the things we've deliberately made worse.  It was kind of wearing.  A colleague and I had a long chat about it on the phone.  I think we agreed that our position was just to be ignored - even when we were right, People Who Know Better know better, even when they are completely wrong.

We even have a word for this in German - die Verschlimmbesserung - making something worse while thinking you're making it better.  German is a beautiful language.
