‘Look at the cat playing the cello’

Is what my mum would have said. She had some funny expressions - I don’t know if that one is commonplace or unique to her. Been thinking about my mum a lot - getting close to what would have been her 99th birthday. Those anniversaries - they really get inside you I find. 
P was outside making the most of a bit of sunshine before the heavy rain reappeared.
