Seek the Beauty, It’s Everywhere

Sunny and warm, temps in the mid-80 degrees F. We are having a horrendous storm at the moment. Torrential rain and sizable hail are pelting our area. Hubby is out in it but has gotten into a building now. We finished unpacking the camper, did two loads of laundry from the trip, cleaned the rooms where the kitties reside when we are away, picked our tomatoes, etc. Not sure if it takes longer to pack or unpack but we are very happy that job is behind us. With the heat, we completely empty the camper pantry. That large green mass on the right between photos of today’s tomato harvest, is the three tomato plants - unbelievable! Hubby cut grass here and at church. Got paid for his services as he found a $20 bill out in the grass. While we were away, he got a call that he’d won $100 in a raffle he’d forgotten about. He put both toward a donation we’d promised to repair a major drainage problem at school. Things usually work out like that. My bee balm in the front flower garden is spent but the goldfinch love the seed heads so I leave them all winter. There was a whitetail dragonfly hanging around the garden so I snapped a picture. Our DIL sent dinner to us last night and we only ate some of it. Hubby is picking up Chinese to complete the meal. We’ve worked hard enough already today. Thanks for stopping by.
